The Lystran region is a small area along the Aquila line in the Milky Way galaxy at the edge the Centaurus arm. The region was once visible from elsewhere in the galaxy. Approximately two galactic revolutions in the past, some action caused light to become trapped in the region. Past expeditions, including many salvagers, have not returned. The Entriden have acquired a Sonnet scanner that was able to view some the darkened stars. As a result, several new races have ventured into Lystran.
