The Saurum are a prolific and generally hostile race. Mainly interested in energy, they have spread throughout many warm star systems in the Centaurus arm. They have picked up advanced technologies from other races and their ships are powerful. The Saurum came to Lystran long ago. They closely guard their purpose in the region, though it is thought that their work is being influenced by another race.
