The Reisian tell us that the Toreisan were a race that emerged in parallel to their own. This is assumed to have taken place outside of the Milky Way galaxy. While the Reisian focused on moving just outside of our normal time-stream, the Toreisan were researching ways to travel through time itself. This led to an incident where the entire Toreisan race disappeared from existence, including all traces of their past history. Their worlds became uninhabited and natural, as if never settled. Only the Reisian and their non-linear memory remember them.
